A bathroom renovation with the pipework set out before the tiles went on, so every tap, spout and shower landed exactly where it should. Finished with wall-mounted mixers, a twin shower, new baths, a toilet and a vessel basin.

We ran new hot and cold lines and waste pipes in the walls and floor, set the wall mixers and shower at the right heights before tiling, then came back to fit off the baths, shower, toilet and basin and check every connection for leaks.

Key Areas

Shower:

A twin shower with an overhead rain head and a hand shower on a rail, its mixer set into the wall and the floor waste placed for a quick drain.

Baths:

A freestanding bath with a floor-mounted spout and a back-to-wall bath with a wall spout and mixer, both plumbed in before the tiling.

Vanity:

A vessel basin on a timber vanity, fed by a wall-mounted spout and mixer set at the right height and reach for the bowl.

Tapware

Wall-mounted mixers and spouts in matte black and brushed brass, set level and square to the finished tiles.

Pipework

New hot and cold water lines and waste pipes in the walls and floor, fixed in place and pressure-tested before they were covered.

Wastes

Floor, bath and basin wastes connected and checked, so water drains away quickly with no pooling.

Fit-Off

Toilet, baths, shower and basin fitted after tiling, sealed, and run with hot and cold water to check for leaks before handover.
